What is the IPA?
The International Police Association is an independent, non-political and non-profit organisation. Since 1950 it has brought together serving and retired police professionals under a single principle: Servo per Amikeco, service through friendship.
The IPA creates opportunities to meet, learn, travel and support one another, regardless of force, rank or country of origin.
A branch rooted in Tarragona
Since 1994 IPA Tarragona has been bringing this international network closer to the province. We organise training, sport, travel, charity initiatives and social gatherings for members and their families.
- A professional community and support among colleagues.
- Training and continuing development throughout your career.
- Sporting, cultural and family activities.
- Hospitality and contact with IPA members all over the world.
From Tarragona to the world
The branch is part of the Spanish Section of the IPA and, through it, of the International Police Association. The international network has around 380,000 members, 68 affiliated national sections and a presence on six continents.
Statutes and transparency
The statutes, electoral procedures, minutes and institutional documents should always be consulted in their current version. To request up-to-date documents, write to ipatarragona@ipatarragona.org.
